The “Sustainability Story” Behind This “One of One” Item:
This little bag has a story to tell, as each item has a soul to reveal. The Vintage Silk in this bag started as a 1960’s mustard yellow scarf (a color having quite a reemergence as well). The scarf was in an overflowing box at an estate sale, and gently blew in the wind as I walked by, waving to me- almost begging to be loved once again. The owner of the scarves was a woman with impeccable style and a lifetime of fashion treasure to share. She was lovingly downsizing a grand home to something “more manageable” she explained. Her home smelled of roses, and the warmth inside told a story of a genuine and loving home. A home that was once filled with children running through the halls, a happy woman running the helm. A woman that wore scarves and went to fancy dinners. She smiled softly at the box as I picked it up.
